Gogebic Range Trail Authority Report:

Trails are open. We have anywhere to good riding conditions to water to low snow spots.  IT IS EARLY SEASON RIDING-PLEASE USE CAUTION. Remember to stay on trails.

Trail 2 from Hurley to Ramsay US-2 Crossing -good

Trail 2 from Ramsay Crossing to Wakefield -poor snow cover is thin and wet.

Trail 2 from Wakefield to Marenisco -poor. 3 miles east of Wakefield logging is ongoing for 1.5 miles so GO SLOW AND YIELD TO LOGGING TRUCKS. REMEMBER LOGGING TRUCKS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY.

Trail 8 from Bingo’s to Tula Crossing is poor to good. There are several wet spots use caution.

Trail 160 and 11S are closed.

Trail 11N is closed indefinitely.

 

The Lake Gogebic Area Grooming

The only report I have for the Lake Gogebic Area is that they are packing the trails.
