TRAIL REPORT

February 1st, 2012

Trail Conditions:  Very Good Over All

Snow Cover:  10 to 14 inches

Area Report:


WE GOT SNOW.... Reports coming in from snowmobile riders this past week - TRAILS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION!!    Iron Range trail system is being groomed daily ...  with the warm up on temps Tuesday they have reverted back to grooming in the evenings until the temps cool down a little...  The southern & eastern trails are snow covered... and in Fair to Good condition.   Trail #2 East or West is in - Very Good  condition ...  Trails #107 & #15N. are in VERY GOOD  condition with 12 to 16 inches of snow cover on them. Trail #111, #113, #16, #2 East are all in Good to Very Good condition.  Trail #116 & Trail #15-S. are in Good condition.  Any direction you want to start from...  whether it's the Iron River or the Crystal Falls area will be in good condition and snow covered!!!   IT"S GREAT TO SEE OLD MAN WINTER BACK IN TOWN .... SO COME ON UP AND DO SOME RIDING... WHILE THE RIDING IS GOOD!!

 

Remember, if you start here in Iron County Michigan you can ride any direction you want to go.... you can ride for miles and miles.  There are over 260 miles of trails just here in Iron County.   North, South, East or West, why drive when you can "RIDE". Happy and Safe Trails to All!!
